We are officially wrapped! What a wonderful and wild ride it has been. We are so grateful to our amazing cast and crew of almost 30, about 40 background extras and nearly 90 financial supporters!

Filming has begun on Make Me Italian! We had an incredible crew of 25 working so hard on accomplishing the vision this past weekend. Here are some sneak peak behind the scene photos from the first weekend of filming.

All the cast and crew at Make Me Italian are jumping up and down! We hit our target goal of $55,000. We can't believe it. In 29 days, 85 individuals and organizations all over the US and Italy supported this project. This is just what we need as we head into filming this Saturday and Sunday.

This week we visited Panavision Headquarters and got the royal treatment as recipients of the New Filmmakers Program grant! We tested out the amazing DXL2 which is a Hollywood cinematographer favorite. Our DP, Justin Kemper tested a plethora of lenses and fitlers and got comfortable with this Ferrari of a camera.

Bryan was interviewed about our film and his personal Italian American experience. It is so important to tell our own stories. So excited to share that Bryan was interviewed on the podcast, Our Italian Story, and it came out today! Check it out on Apple Podcasts.

We are so happy to share that we are now recipients of the Panavision New Filmmakers Program Grant! We are so thrilled to be able to shoot with the film industry's top camera and equipment company. The Panavision New Filmmaker Program equipment grant provides the use of Panavision film or digital camera packages to aspiring filmmakers at little to no cost. 

Fantastic news friends! We have an Executive Producer! Peter Farina of italyMONDO! has joined us in the film journey! It is truly special since I hired italyMONDO! in 2016 to process my paperwork for the consulate!

Make Me Italian received a nice coverage in the the Rome based online magazine, We the Italians. We are so grateful for the support from all over the world!

The script for Make Me Italian made it to the Quarterfinals in the Outstanding Screenplays Shorts Competition 2022 out of 960 Short Scripts submitted to the UK script competition.
